I have enjoyed your stuff so far, keep it up!
I am also a student pilot, currently working on my commercial rating in the multi-engine Piper Seminole. It is all worth it eventually!
I'm also in school to be a teacher, so I'll be glad to offer any advice. For now, landings are tough, but they'll come to you in time.Lafherthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02611728727416193969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806356896840529760.post-8043427173283086402007-12-28T12:30:00.000-05:002007-12-28T12:30:00.000-05:00Thanks for your comments! This one will have some interesting radio chatter between tower and a poor lost helicopter pilot. Long story short….he did not make any friends at ATC that day. Keep me updated on your progress. I looked at your blog, but like you said…hard to read for me, but at least I can put a face to the email. This (Flight Instruction) was a long time coming and I am so happy to be finally doing it. It is one of the biggest challenges mentally that I have done in a while. Thanks for taking the time to respond/comment and I wish you the best of luck! Keep in touch.

GregGreg Summershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03922161987150028160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7806356896840529760.post-24672506019450064812007-12-28T08:56:00.000-05:002007-12-28T08:56:00.000-05:00Hi Greg,Nice site and videopodcasts! I have enjoyed reading studentpilot blogs over the past few years but your stuff is great.
I am a studentpilot myself from the Netherlands. I started in august and have had some lessons the past few months. My first priority was to get some theory in my head before speeding up the lessons frequency. Starting from januari I will be flying two hours every week. So I should be able to get my PPL licence somewhere during the summer of 2008.
Of course I have my own blog, www.vliegenmetmarcel.nl, but it's in Dutch. I realy don't have the time to do everything in English. Maybe after the exams I will start a new site. I want to get my IR also. I haven't found any blog yet about achieving one of the extra ratings. That blog will be written in English I think. But first things first...

I wish you good luck and many happy landings. I will be viewing your videopodcasts with great interrest.

Regards,

Marcel Siebes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
