Here is a short video to talk about a few things. This is mainly to introduce the Student Pilot Journal Podcast Facebook fan page but I will also talk about a few other topics as well.

There is no substitute for real flying. I took my ppl ant Biggin Hill
and I have been dreaming about flying since I stopped in 2000. A big mistake I think now.
I am very much looking forward to your Journal I am sure it will bring back a few memories.
I hope you go all the way to Airline Pilot and you study for ATPL

I hope that you get the chance to start back....I understand how hard it can be to keep things going and I do wish that I could push all the way to ATP....but unfortunately the pay would be a huge cut....if I would have done it at 20 years old that would have been a different story but at 36 years old with a family, etc...it can be difficult. Good luck man!

Greg, appreciate you posting the lessons. I'm just getting started and admit I'm nervous about making mistakes. Sad to hear about the harsh comments, we all had to learn to walk at some time but many forget about that learning experience. Keep up the good work.

Traverse 2, I enjoy posting whenever I can. As far as mistakes, I still make a ton of them but fortunately I get to see others making just as many....if not more so it makes me feel a little more human. I just try to do everything I can to reduce those human factors that can jeopardize a safe flight. Good luck with your training. :-)
